Episode plot summary
The search for Goody's spellbook
Wednesday seeks to reclaim Goody Addams' spellbook, which Morticia has confiscated, hoping it will restore her lost psychic abilities.
When Morticia refuses, Wednesday challenges her to a duelo-a-ciegas—a blindfolded sword fight. Morticia wins the duel, only to have Wednesday save her from an attack by the loose zombie, Slurp.
Despite winning, Morticia agrees to Wednesday's request to spare the book, recognizing that her daughter saved her.
Camp Jericho and a new lead
Wednesday discovers that the late Sheriff Galpin had a secret investigation station, which he called "the bullpen," in a cabin near Camp Jericho.
At the cabin, Wednesday finds a wall of newspaper clippings for outcast obituaries, all from former Willow Hill Psychiatric Center patients.
She learns that her vision of Enid's death may be connected to a larger conspiracy targeting outcasts.
Pugsley's electrical powers and Slurp's return
The re-animated, brain-eating zombie, Slurp, escapes from Pugsley's tent during the camping trip.
He later kills a scoutmaster who is attempting to sabotage the Outcast's camping fun.
Pugsley is devastated when Slurp is captured and sent to Willow Hill, but he is forced to accept that Slurp is too dangerous to keep.
A familiar face returns
The episode ends with a shocking reveal: Marilyn Thornhill, the first season's villain, has been transferred to the Willow Hill Psychiatric Center as a new patient.
This twist suggests that Thornhill may not be as defeated as previously thought and could potentially team up with Wednesday's stalker, "the Avian"
